Frequently asked questions
The sector lists are based on the Trust Index employee survey. The ranking is determined using the Great Place To Work For All formula.
Great Place To Work Nederland reserves the right to refuse a company's listing on a sector list at any time, before, during or after the survey has taken place.
To participate, the following conditions apply:

Certification. Only certified organizations are eligible for a spot on one of the industry lists.

At least 20 employees. Participation in the sector lists is possible for organizations with 20 or more employees.
For organizations in the Large category (500 or more employees), a Culture Audit is not required.
The sector lists are announced every year in September.
In the sector lists, we do not distinguish between organizations based on size. Our data shows that small organizations often achieve higher scores than larger ones, and even though the algorithm takes this into account, we have chosen not to use a ranking system to ensure comparability. To keep the differences between organizations understandable and to give everyone a chance at recognition, each list consists of 10 organizations.
We base this on the information that organizations themselves provide in the Culture Brief. For organizations that select the “other” category, we check whether they might qualify for one of the sectors.
