Al 30 jaar staat de medewerker centraal in de aanpak van Great Place To Work. De resultaten van het Trust Index-medewerkersonderzoek hebben daarom altijd het zwaarst gewogen in certificering en de Best Workplaces Awards. Ons certificaat is 100% gebaseerd op de stem van de medewerker en vanaf 2023 geldt dat ook voor de Best Workplaces Awards.
Als het gaat om het bouwen van een succesvolle organisatiecultuur, dan zijn medewerkers de belangrijkste factor. Daarom moeten zij de bepaler zijn van de lijst van Best Workplaces. Het zijn van een great place to work For All zorgt voor het behouden én het aantrekken van collega’s. De Trust Index-scores zijn dan ook doorslaggevend bij het bepalen van de beste werkgevers per categorie.
Afschaffing categorie multinational
Als één van de weinige Europese landen hanteert Great Place To Work Nederland een aparte categorie voor multinationals in de nationale lijst van Best Workplaces.
Vanaf de Best Workplaces 2024 wordt deze categorie afgeschaft. De reden hiervoor is dat we organisaties willen benchmarken op basis van het aantal medewerkers, ongeacht het type organisatie (bijvoorbeeld multinational, familiebedrijf of een specifieke branche). De onderlinge interacties en de lokale cultuur/organisatiegrootte bepalen of deze organisaties in Nederland een great place to work zijn.
Criteria erkenningsmogelijkheden in Nederland
In Nederland erkennen we goed werkgeverschap door middel van certificering en de Best Workplaces Awards. Ontdek de criteria:

Voor organisaties in de categorie small en medium tellen alleen de Trust Index-scores mee. Meedoen aan de Best Workplaces Awards kan vanaf 20 medewerkers.
De lijst van Best Workplaces bestaat uit een selectie van organisaties, verdeeld over 3 categorieën:

Large: meer dan 500 medewerkers
Changes in criteria Best Workplaces™
From 2024, the multinational category will be eliminated for Best Workplaces in the Netherlands. The Culture Audit will remain a requirement for the large organizations.

Our certification is 100% based on the voice of the employee, and starting in 2023, so will the Best Workplaces Awards.
When it comes to building a successful organizational culture, employees are the most important factor. Therefore, they should be the determinant of the Best Workplaces list. Being a great place to work For All ensures retention as well as attraction of colleagues. The Trust Index scores are therefore decisive in determining the best employers per category.
Elimination of the multinational category
Great Place To Work Netherlands is one of the few European countries with a separate category for multinationals in the national Best Workplaces list.
As of Best Workplaces 2024, this category will be eliminated. The reason is that we want to benchmark organizations based on the number of employees, regardless of the type of organization (e.g. multinational, family business or a specific industry). The mutual interactions and the local culture/organization size determine whether these organizations in the Netherlands are a great place to work.
Criteria for recognition in the Netherlands
In the Netherlands, we recognize good employers through certification and the Best Workplaces Awards. Discover the criteria:
