About the Great Place To Work certification

We believe the voice of the employee is most important. That’s why this certification is 100% based on the Trust Index™ employee survey. This survey consists of 60 statements on various themes. With this survey, we measure trust, pride and fun in organizations.

These are the requirements for certification:

  • A score of 70% or higher on the Trust Index;
  • A minimum response rate;
  • A completed Culture Brief™.

The certificate is valid for one year. Organizations with the highest scores on the Trust Index have a chance to make the Best Workplaces™ list.

Working at Energy21

At Energy21, we place great value in successfully bringing our new hires on board. We give our people all the tools they need to succeed in their new role with us.

Our onboarding process aims to get the new joiners acquainted with Energy21 and their role within it. Upon starting with us, you will take a deep dive into what we do, our path so far and our plans for the future. And who better to take you along this route than our management team?

In addition, you will get to meet various department heads and stakeholders, with whom you will work on a regular basis, to get acquainted, understand what they do and discuss how you can contribute to everyone’s success.

Finally, we offer our new employees comprehensive and interactive trainings on our tools, most commonly EBASE, as well as on the Dutch energy sector in general, to increase understanding of our impact and get you up and running with our solutions.

This might sound like an intensive program, yet the sessions are carefully spaced within your first weeks with Energy21, to ensure you have time to breathe and get started with your work. Moreover, you can always count on your colleagues’ support - Be it your assigned buddy, other team members or the people team, there are always people around to answer your questions, help you through your first days and keep morale high during this period of change for you.
