Congratulations! Your organization is a Best Workplace 2026. We are going to celebrate this during our annual Best Workplaces - The Happening. On Tuesday, June 2, we will put DeFabrique in the theme of Proud To/& Present. Come full of pride and experience an evening in full presence.

Keynote speakers

Jitske Kramer & Dolf Jansen

In Tricky Times, Jitske unravels the human dynamics that arise during major changes. Focusing on liminality, chaos in power, wild stories, tricksters and the importance of good leadership in uncertain times.

Dolf translates these insights and interpretations to what he sees in Dutch politics and to the people in the room. Because human dynamics (and chaos...) are everywhere, certainly also in your organization or industry. And we are all in the meantime, "the in-between. Solid opinions and calm interpretation, comedy and knowledge, much needed precisely in these tricky times. And whether Dolf is actually a 'trickster' will certainly also become clear.

The theme of this program is: change, the opportunities and dangers of the liminal interim of transformations. The bestseller Tricky Times serves as the basis for this.

What does it mean to be a Best Workplace?

Organizations that put their people first deserve a stage. That's why we recognize great employers through certification and the Best Workplaces.

Only certified organizations stand a chance of winning the title Best Workplace. This requires a score of 70% or higher on the Trust Index. For organizations in the Large category (500+ employees), the Culture Audit also counts.

The 50 highest scoring organizations make up the Best Workplaces. The ranking is determined according to the Great Place To Work For All formula.

The top 50 consist of 4 categories:

  • Small (20 to 49 employees): top 15

  • Medium (50 to 249 employees): top 15

  • Mid Large (250 to 499 employees): top 10

  • Large (500+ employees): top 10

A total of 252 organizations qualified for the 2026 list.

How many colleagues can I bring?

For each organization, we are providing 10 tickets. Come with many, because pride can only be truly felt and shared in a group!

How can I reach DeFabrique?

Car

Coming by car? Then park in one of the 700 free parking spaces. Professional parking attendants will welcome and assign you a spot, so parking goes smoothly and you can start your day carefree.

Do you have an electric car? Then it is possible to charge it via one of the 14 charging stations in our parking lot.

Public transportation

Trains from Amsterdam and Utrecht stop at Maarssen station. At the station, take the Kanaalzijde exit. You can reach DeFabrique in a 15-minute walk. Public transport bicycles are also available at Maarssen station.

Shuttle bus

Shuttle buses run between Maarssen station and DeFabrique. If you have signed up for the shuttle bus, we will have given your name to the driver. At Maarssen station, take the exit on the Kanaalzijde. From 15:15, a shuttle bus will be waiting there. Is the shuttle bus not there? Then it is on its way and back within 10 minutes for the next ride. After the event (from 21:00), the shuttle bus will take you back to Maarssen station.

What language will be spoken at this event?

This event will be in Dutch.

What if I can't make it?

First of all: what a shame! If you cannot attend, the following policy applies:

  • Until May 15, 2026, you can cancel by email at no charge. You will receive a refund of the ticket price.

  • After May 15, 2026 you will not receive a refund of the ticket price, regardless of the reason for cancellation (including illness and private circumstances). In this case, of course, you can have another colleague come in your place.

I have another question

By participating in events, workshops, inspiration sessions or other activities at a physical location, you automatically grant permission for video recordings and photographs to be made. We may distribute these recordings to partners and suppliers, and use them for our own purposes, including publication on our channels.
